Another Very Quiet Day

Friday, 21 June, 2018 – Day 7 in Copenhagen

WARNING: I have been hearing complaints that followers are unable to see my photos or their caption or both. In fact I have that problem when I am on this site. The analysis of this situation and the solution has come from Computer Expert Extraordinary Lois. If you receive a notification from WordPress of a new Post etc, do NOT click into the WordPress directly. Instead, open a new page/tab and navigate to http://www.beauperi.com. That should do it. Thanks Lois!

In the mean time I will try to contact WordPress to see what is going on. On with the show.

The weather is in between today, still warm but threatening rain. Julie heads off in the morning to the seminar for the final ceremony as I bumble around at home doing laundry and Beauperi update. The kids go out for a while but are back as well to do laundry and bumble around.

We only thought that Julie had gone to the seminar final ceremony. Instead, she had decided that she had heard enough speeches and wandered around Copenhagen for most of the day as she had really not seen much of it during the week. As a result we were ready to pop out the door to our restaurant of choice at 6:00 PM. Our choice is Cofoco, where we went on Sunday where we got such horrible service for an extended period but where once we got served things were ok. So, we are out the door at 6:00 PM and are seated straight away and immediately order the wine, same as we had on the first visit.

Settled at our table with Tanika’s back to the camera
The Menu

We order some of the dishes we had had during the previous visit and some new ones.

Hot bread supplied gratis

When you turn the bread roll over:

You can see it has been split in 4 pieces. Very good.

I ordered the Mussel soup Julie had had before:

Mussel Soup which is really Mussel broth with Scallops

Julie had the Salmon

Julie’s Salmon
Ryan had the Avocado Tanika had the Cockerell and Chips, again

The chips were quite tough and Tanika gave them to Ryan.

Our wine
Julie with main course sized Mussel Soup
My Guinea Fowl, again – very tasty
Ryan’s Argentinian Ribeye
Tanika’s Courgette Noodles

The night ended up early with good service and good food. Such a comparison to Sunday night. More laundry and packing upon return.
