Today we head to Happy Valley Race Course to participate in the Melbourne Cup. We are a bit disappointed that there is no actual racing at Happy Valley. The guys who want to place a bet on the Cup, have to walk half way around the track.

An way, we get a nice private room in the Moon Koon restaurant. The main part eventually fills up too even though there is no racing. Popular place.

Note that the spoon holding the duck liver, which I gave away, was edible.
