He hop in the car to go over to Palo Alto to meet up with Sister Barbara and of course “daughter”, Daisy the dog. We go to a local restaurant, Sundance the Restaurant, which is reputed to have the best Clam Chowder around.

A cup of chowder comes with Julie’s meal and I order a bowl. The very outgoing waiter, who knows Barbara well, forgets my chowder order.

My Clam Chowder eventually showed up. It was good but not as good as Legal Seafood in Washington.
We go back to Barbara’s place and jump in the car to go to Filoli, an impressive Mansion and Garden up in the hills.

We also toured the house but no photos. Refer: http://www.filoli.org/
Then it is back to Barbara’s place for dinner with the Nieces. There is a little excitement on the drive since there is a screen view that says how much further we can go before we run out of gas. It got down to zero, but fortunately we get back and don’t run out of gas.
The girls arrive within a short time of each other, late but not too bad. Erin has brought her Boyfriend Aaron. The weather continues to be great so we are eating outside.

We learned that Megan has set-up a successful Pilates business. We also learned that Erin and Aaron were going to move to Maui even though they had never been there. We also learned that we had to drive across the Bay to get some sleep for we have another big day in front of us tomorrow.
