Sad Goodbyes

Wednesday, 16 April

Well, all good things must pass. We all, except Di who had ccaught an earlier plane, met upstairs for breakfast. Hey, the bananas were OK today. Then, we all went separate ways to various parts of the globe. Many of the group had the dreaded lurgy. Julie recovered after a few days of anti-biotics. Colin was apparently laid low in France for a few days, Others slowly recovered.

Julie, of course, went for another walk to the Salmon shop. The follwoing are a few pictures she took along the way.

We must offer big thanks to Colin for again organising a stunning tour, I am sure it was much harder work than even he explained. Doug too was great, thanks a million. We all, or most of us, should organise a trip to Browns for one of Doug’s exception meals etc. Maybe the group could start nominating dates/ times commencing end May etc.

So as Edward R. Morrow would say – Good night, good luck & good bye, but only for a short time.
