16/September – Grand Hotel, Burnley
We have been to a number of food and wine events at the Grand Hotel in Burnley, e.g. the Wednesday Duck and Pinot night, and this was a special one. Many thanks to Katie and the Grand staff as well as Adam Foster of Syrahmi wines and Foster y Rocco, with well known sommelier Lincoln Riley, who supplied all of the wines tonight.

We are here for Pig but the menu is pretty impressive too, not just pig.
We are in the bar area having a few drinks when the first two snacks come out:
We are then seated in the Como room with one quite long table.
The first course is brought along with the Rose.
I had had to Google Cobia to find out what it was, very King Fish like and quite tasty.
Then the main course arrives:
Definitely a very good night. The Grand Hotel Richmond (Burnley) is highly recommended. Get on their VIP list!
